Some personal information about my path to becoming a Learning and Development Leader and my Certifications and Education.

About Me

As a Learning and Development leader, I’m driven by a passion for creating impactful, results-oriented systems and training. With 12 years of adult training, plus degrees in Art and Teaching, and extensive experience designing and implementing curriculum in Sales, Train-the-Trainer, Project Management, and Education, I bring a unique skill set to L&D leadership and Instructional Design. I combine a love for writing, creativity, and learning with data-driven methodologies to deliver effective learning solutions. To stay current and develop best practices, I earned certification in Instructional Design through the Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA), equipping me with the tools and skills to engage learners and drive measurable performance improvements.

As an Instructional Designer, I focus on developing solutions grounded in efficacy,  designed for efficiency,  and structured for enablement to drive meaningful change. I’m skilled in using authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, and Camtasia, adult learning theories, and iterative design processes, to create learner-centered solutions. Inspired by thought leaders like Julie Dirksen and Clark Quinn, I apply research-based practices and interactive strategies to enhance engagement and ensure knowledge retention.

Throughout my career, I’ve led hundreds of projects and trainings that streamlined processes, improved operational efficiency, raised job satisfaction, and boosted key performance indicators. Whether collaborating with SMEs, stakeholders, clients, or learners, I aim to foster dynamic, goal-oriented and enablement-minded environments focused on measurable success. My enterprise-view mindset and data-nerd tendencies enable me to achieve incredible organizational growth. I'm excited to discover the impactful results we can achieve together.
